Pakistan • Batch 2013

"When I joined Buraq Space Camp at age 16, I didn't realize I was stepping into one of the most transformative experiences of my life. It was a space where ambition, innovation, and leadership weren’t just encouraged; they were expected. Over ten intense days, I was challenged in ways I could have never anticipated, mentally, physically, and emotionally. Early mornings, freezing nights, and constant challenges taught me resilience, teamwork, and grit, lessons no textbook could offer. I learned that real growth happens far outside your comfort zone. One of the most impactful aspects was engaging with Pakistani trailblazers, mentors from around the world who generously shared their journeys. Their insights sparked something in me: a realization that leadership is rooted in perspective and purpose, not age, and that obstacles often hold the greatest potential for growth. Surrounded by brilliant minds from across the country, I experienced what it means to collaborate with purpose and envision a future without boundaries. We weren't just exploring science, we were discovering the potential of who we could become. Buraq gave me clarity about the kind of person I want to be. It lit a spark that still drives me: to lead with purpose, give back meaningfully, and help shape a better future for Pakistan."
